Google the name now synonymous with the internet and the leading search engine in the world is bringing it’s proving search and cataloging capabilities to…your pants.
The Mountain View, California based internet company anouced yesterday the new Beta based software, which is free to download from their site at 456KB.
The announcement comes on the heels of two other controversial revelations by Google. The first being the record keeping policies the company employs regarding users and the subjects of their searches, the second being their introduction of their services in Communist China albeit on a limited and highly censored form. The two announcements have stirred up heated debate over privacy rights and free speech. Google assured inquires by reporter that they would not share the identity of their users or their searches with anyone. That “anyone being the Bush administration who recently requested that information from Google as well as Aol and several other major players in the search engine game. Google has been the only company to refused such as request.
The software itself (Google Pants Beta) will search the users pockets content underwear size and other less polite measurements upon instillation and would then allow the user to search through the contents of their pants, pockets and other regions and then organize a clear up what in all likely hood is a years worth of unreadable receipts misplaced car keys a pack of wet matches, an empty Zippo and possibly some gum. Or maybe that’s just me.
“Google Pants” tm will bring the power of their software to your own pants. Marvel of marvels.
Larry Page, the companies co-founder said in a statement “AS easily as any ask jeeves, Yahoo, or GOOGLE search for pointless diversions you can instantly search your pants, pockets, wallets, underwear or panties and more. No more wondering, you will know and so will Google. Google Pants represents a quantum leap in access to your…uh..’area’”.
